UniPrint Beta Test Program

The purpose of a Beta Test Program is to identify and eliminate defects in UniPrint beta products, as well as address reliability, scalability, and usability (human factors). The program is also designed to validate the product features and record enhancement requests for future releases.

INGENICA encourages its partners and clients to test each UniPrint product in its Beta form, in order to contribute to the further development of the UniPrint Suite. As an official Beta test site, you will have full access to any available UniPrint Beta products for testing purposes. The UniPrint forum will have a special Beta Testing area within which users will be able to communicate with other Beta testers. The UniPrint development team will closely monitor this forum and contribute on a regular basis to its content. All issues will be addressed by the development team through this forum. Participation in Beta Testing is beneficial not only for UniPrint, but also for the customer, by providing:

  • Early access to product code.
  • Involvement in development cycle, which includes the ability to influence future development.
  • Improved documentation.
  • The ability to roll out the product in your production environment immediately upon official customer release.
  • Resulting knowledge gained from participating in the beta test program.

In order to work with our development teams to test the beta product(s) prior to public release, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Test the product for a minimum of 5 to 10 hours
  • Report any defect found during beta testing within the UniPrint Beta product forum as soon as possible and provide exact steps to reproduce the issue as well as specification of the test environment.
  • Periodically report feedback to improve on reliability, stability, and readiness of product for the marketplace.
  • Provide feedback regarding product documentation and user guides.
  • Participate in the UniPrint Beta Test Program under a formal Non-Disclosure Agreement.
