Update to Google Drive Cloud Storage
Google Drive cloud storage is undergoing a modification to meet with Google’s compliance requirements. This change will take effect February 12 at 12:30AM EST. There should be no down time.
What is changing?
Previous behavior: InfinityCloud allowed access to the entire Drive of the user.
New behavior: With this modification, InfinityCloud will allow operations only with folders/files created within InfinityCloud.
E.g. If folder / file is created in Google Drive directly, then these won’t appear within InfinityCloud Self-serve portal/Connectors/Mobile. Folder / file needs to be created from within InfinityCloud in order to be seen in the Self-serve portal/Connectors/Mobile.
Who will be impacted?
If the folder that is being used, was created from within InfinityCloud, then there may not be an impact. If folders that were not created by InfinityCloud, were used for scan destinations, they may not appear.
Resolution steps:
Add Google Drive storage account again from the Self-serve portal, and create a folder from within InfinityCloud. Start using this new folder for scan destinations. One can create/select any folder structure within this.
Thanks,
Team Process Fusion
